D) Genius Hour - 0% - While NOT for marks I think Genius Hour is worth some reflection. What topic did you choose and why? How did you plan your learning? How did you plan your teaching? How effective were you with time given each week? How was your presentation received by your peers? What did you learn from the comments? What have you learned about your own perspective about the responsibility of learning because of the Genius Hour? Why do you come to school or bother learning anything?
Im not the best at grammar or punctuation so I'm going to be explain why i deserve the mark I give myself by linking my work and using a note style of doing This
-All assighnments were completed 75 percent to my fullest ability.
-Over the course of the semester i feel like my quility of work decreased
-My overall writing did not increase or decrease its about the same but my ability to come up with things off the top of my head increased
-I learned that i actrolly have to care about what i'm doing in order to do a good job and to care about what I'm doing.
-I have a total of 41 comments, I commented on everyones blog atleast once.
-My comments were pretty good i would usually do a 1 like 1 dislike and 1 improvement style comment
-I would look at my comments on my work and usually change what people told me to, but at the same time sometimes i didn't like what people were telling me what to do and i wouldnt change anything.
-I have learned that if we all help each other succeed in ways we need help with the classroom community would be much better.
-I feel like i have been a huge part in this class rooms social aspect i would help people that would need help and i would always be commenting on peoples work so they could do better in the class room.
-I had a really good comment on allans blog with links to information on wikipedia and other things but he deleted it for some reason -,-
- My self regulation in class was avarage i missed a few classes, id slack of or get off task in class, but when i was here and ready to learn i was like a beast, i do great work help people and want to learn all at the dame time. but when i was off task i made sure i wouldn't distract other i would usually just play games on the computer and be quite.
-For my geinous how i chose the history of lacrosse, i planned out my learning by getting all my info and learning it. i then put it into a powerpoint and script so i could teach it affectively. but on presentation day i forgo my script and had to wing it with the information i had remembered. I feel like the overall presenntion went well for the situation i was in and the questions that were asked from the class would of been easier if i had my script but i still feel like i did good.
From the information i gave above i feel like i deserve a 86% final grade. because of my effort attendence overall quility and work and my comments to people in or class room.
